Bad Sara! Baadd Sara for neglecting your blogger...>.<
Right...Now the self-chastisement is out of the way, I can get on with this weblog. First thing's first, the RP session...I rather enjoyed it truth be told, although that may have had something to do with the bottle of ginger-beer and ridiculous amount of foodstuffs I got to eat. There were four of us there, myself being the only female (and GM). Luke and Craig managed to go until around 3:30am, Robert lasted until 4:15am, and I was left until 6:00am, reading the next chapter of the quest we were working on. I fell asleep and was ironically the first to wake up again around 9:20am or so. The others slept until about 10:30am.
The gameplay was great in the evening. The only thing that slightly irked me was Luke's insistance to play a lesbian dwarf...seriously. I found it rather disconcerting, and so did Craig when the dwarf attempted to start hitting on his female mage. There was no need. At all. No fate points were lost, which rather surprised me truth be told. The RPers are getting better at understanding the boundaries and just how far my temper will go before I set wild animals on them. Rule 1 of RPing - Do not piss off the GM.
I had some rather good news two days ago. The EEG scan results came back and it seems as though I'm completely epilepsy-free. That's a massive weight lifted off my shoulders right there in all truth. If my 'episodes' are stress-related therefore, it means I will still have to quit my job. My nan thinks it's due to me working with my mother, and it could be that...perhaps...But i don't think that 17 hours a week along with college work and other obligations was a good choice on my part to begin with.
I missed my old school's christmas bazaar unfortunately, since I was at the Globe Theatre in London, learning more about King Lear. It was a good trip, and I almost bought myself a ring. It was £10.99, and was a replica of one found at the old Globe. It had a Latin inscription on the outside that translated as 'Think of me, God willing', which I was rather touched by. They didn't have any in the small size however, and the medium sizes slid off my fingers, as they're quite slender. I really ought to get myself something like that however. My aunt says my hands look bare as they are. We will see...^^
I started up my DA account again about a week or so ago now. I've been on the chat boards quite a lot and met a fair few new people who comment upon my works. I'm glad I'm able to share my poetry with others...even if the majority of it is rather poor.
Regards until next entry.
