Well, it seems as though they want me to start work tomorrow. It seems as though due to a very poor staff-turnover rate, they're painfully short-staffed and need all hands on deck, as it were. My contract is technically for 17 hours a week, but my Lecturers have threatened to hunt me down and hurt me if I do more than 10 hours a week...So I'm going to opt for 8 if at all possible. They need all the help they can get right? I'm feverently praying they'll allow me to keep my job with those diminished hours.
Today was the last day that one of my sociology Lecturers, Stuart, was going to be teaching us. It seems as though he has a new, full time job elsewhere. Good for him perhaps, but it means we're stuck with Helen all the time now (who happens to be Stuarts wife). We don't learn a massive amount whilst we're with her, but we will have to learn to adapt to her teaching methods if we want to come out of this year alive. The lesson itself today was enjoyable however. We got cholocates for quiz-prizes, and Stuart even went down to the atrium and bought 12 slices of toast for us. (1 slice each). I managed to get one or two nice photographs, so I'll get them printed out as and when I have chance to.
