I was going to write in this thing yesterday, but I was tired and got distracted easily. For the past two days I've been back to work. It's not been too bad in all fairness. I have however, been making sandwiches both days. That's all. Eight hours of handling egg mayo and lettuce. Still, I get paid for it I suppose, and it means I'll be able to keep saving up for when I go to Uni. Irony has an amazing way of sneaking up behind you and nipping you in the ass though doesn't it? I have always said the last thing I want to do is work with food (preparation), and that's just gone flying out of the window. Ah well. In all fairness I would much rather be making sandwiches than coffee.
Three more days at college until I'm free. What utter joy. I'm more than likely going to be busier over the Christmas holdiays than I am when I'm actually at college...But I don't have to actually sit through a Sociology lecture for two weeks. That's euphoria just there. I daresay I'll be doing quite a lot of overtime this holiday...unfortunately. What is it with me and not being able to say no to people who ask me to do something? I highly dislike myself at some points for it. Work's Christmas Party is on Tuesday however...We will just have to see how that goes. I sincerely hope my mother isn't in too much of a 'holiday mood'. I can't imagine the embarassment that would cause me.
I've completed one or two more poems. Completely out of the loop for writing one to Saki in time for Christmas however. Infact, any poems /for/ people have pretty much gone out of the window for some reason. My inspiration is slowly being sapped, I fear. I'll have to remedy that by watching a good film or reading a good book I suppose. I might read 'Burnt Toast' again. Some of the elements in that book are very true and are written in a fantastic way. We'll see.
