The first thing I'd better do is appologise. I ended up getting tired of posting two sorts of Journals (One here and one on my DeviantArt page) and rather foolishly stopped updating this one instead of the other. For that reason, this post is going to have to be merely brief overview of what's happened in the past two months. To do a proper-lengthed one will be suicide.
Firstly, I've joined a forum called 'Meeting of Minds', which is an Anne McCaffrey fan-forum. I heard there that my favourite Author is going to be going to a convention in Copenhagen this September. At the moment I'm still trying to find someone to go with.
I've had back my offers from the three University choices, and they're all letting me in with a conditional offer. To be honest I didn't think Leicester Uni would allow me even that due to my forecasted grades, but they've said as long as I get B/B/B I have a place. Now all I have to do is work my backside off in order to go there. It's my first choice.
I got glasses a few days ago. They're not too bad I suppose. I have to wear them when I'm at the computer, Reading, Watching TV and Driving. (Note to self - book driving lessons again...) They were free, surprisingly, but they're good enough for me.
That's more or less the main things that have happened thus far this year. There are obviously more unimportant things that have happened, but for the sake of brevity in this post, I'll just keep it at a recap. Hopefully I'll remember to start updating this in a regular manner again now. It's certainly better for me to write here, since it's more private than my open-for-all DA account page.
