I went to see 'Music and Lyrics' yesterday at the cinema, (thus the reason why there was no entry), and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Watching it from the point of view of not only someone who just feels like watching a movie, but also from the point of view of someone who enjoys writing, it managed to completely hold my attention all the way through.
I've found that quite a lot of films just recently are getting very repetative in their ideas. Especially, I've found, those by Disney and other such animation companies. It all seems to be computer animated these days, which I find to be a real shame. There's absolutely nothing wrong with 2D animation. (I believe that's what it's referred to as...)
I wrote a new poem today. Only my third one this year thus far. I've had the idea in my head for a while now, so I was thankful that it all seemed to come together so well. People talking about imperfections and especially the role of the media finally wound me to a point where I just had to somehow tell people to stop being so negative about themselves. (I'm a hypocrite you see)
