Well, I ended up going paintballing, which was a success. I have a grand total of 19 bruises, and I can't walk properly...but apart from that it was absolutely fantastic.
Unfortunately, I also had to spend a whole afternoon with extended family on Sunday...which in turn means I had to be polite and talk to people I never see from one month to the next...but it wasn't as bad as I envisaged it to be, thankfully. My DRoP book and mayfair board-game came through the post, so I now have them in my posession.
My birthday presents were rather...varied. The range is as below:
* A 'Naughty Nurse' birthday cake from friends. (Apparantly they couldn't get a lighthouse as they intended, and forgot the banana and chocolate sauce). * A T-Shirt with a picture of J.K. Rowling on it with an obscene word across the top. * Some book vouchers. * Some money. * The 'Desperate Housewives' Sims game for PC...that doesn't work because my graphics card sucks. * Some dice for DnD from Josh. * A very awesome photoshopped picture from Saki. * A de-luxe whip from my oh-so-funny friends from college.
All in all I guess I got quite a lot. My family and I went to a restaurant on Thursday, and my dad was supposed to come...but unfortunately, he decided to go to the pub earlier on instead, so we ended up having to leave him at home. Oh how I love my parents.
I'm going to Leicester Uni's open day tomorrow. I've accepted their offer as my 'firm' offer, so all I need to do now is manage to somehow pull 3 B's out of the hat...which is going to be fun.
