I went out today with Rach, Sofa, Helen and her Male-Friend to go and see the Christmas Lights being turned on here in Leicester. Please take note of the date. Not even December 1st yet. -Sighs- I've forbidden them to put any decorations up in the flat before said date. When I say we went to see the Christmas lights turn on...we didn't. We were walking to the main square when they suddenly turned on magically. Cue us all rolling our eyes. Still, we went to Pizza Hut for a meal, which certainly beat that which we get here in Halls. I got some roasted chestnuts from a vendor afterwards, which were nice enough I guess...but I wasn't massively keen on them.
I've been reading Jane Eyre today and I'm almost halfway through the book. I'm technically meant to be reading Adam Bede, but I'll probably have time to do that afterwards in any case.
In terms of my History Assignment, I've taken down some notes today...but I really -must- read through it tomorrow. I'm just thankful I have the day off so I'll be able to do that. -Crosses fingers- I've had to write another list though, there's plenty to be done. I'll be getting up for breakfast anyway, with a bit of luck.
