Gabi liked her present. I couldn't detect any sarcasm or unreal thanks in her voice anyway. It was a very pleasant affair, really. Hannah and I were last to arrive due to having been in a lecture until 4:50. We all sat around the tree in the hallway (a small one from Asda that we had taped to the wall) and dished out the presents, opening them first and guessing who got them for us until the person owned up. Everyone seemed to put thought into their gifts, and the general atmosphere was brilliant.
I got lingerie. Pink. Frilly. Lingerie. Thanks Pete. Not entirely sure as to what I'm going to do with it mind...probably use the bra as a slingshot or something, but it got many laughs from everyone, including me.
I'm reading 'The English Patient' currently, and I'm really enjoying it. It's rather fragmented in the way in which it tells the story, but you tend to get used to it. Speaking of books, I have to stay up for another two and a half hours or so, since there's one or two things I'm keeping an eye on, on Ebay currently. -Fingers crossed-
