First and foremost...I've -finally- finished my History assignment, (I got it done a week early, in fact), and I've -finally- got myself a bookcase with a glass front. My grandparents and I went to Ikea a couple of days ago to get it, and I put it up by myself yesterday. (W0ot! Flatpack Ikea stuff - 0, Sara - 1).
Speaking of my grandparents, they went off to the Midlands Show this morning. I'll be joining them on Sunday, since I'm able to get a lift up with Eric Rushby, a friend of theirs. Apparently Michael Painter has been asking my grandparents about me recently with regards to my interest in wood carving. He's said he'll teach me some basics whilst I'm there on the Sunday, which I'm really looking forward to. To be honest, it'll be nice to finally put faces to the names that I know so well by now.
Which reminds me...I have plenty of woodwork to be getting on with over the next two days. I've a dagger comission to finish, and then whatever else I can do in my now-limited time (Why do I -always- leave things until the last minute when the Academic Holidays are concerned?) will be nice extras. Ah well. I'll have more or less 4 months over the summer. Fun fun fun.
