Earlier Today:
The internet is currently down. Great. MasterPoint decides to screw around with servers or something of that nature just as people need the internet for exam revision. Quite a few people aren’t happy at all. Other people, such as me, are actually able to revise now however, without the large distraction. Still, very annoying since I can’t even do my ‘dailies’, as it were.
I've ended up applying for Proof Reader of 'The Ripple', the University Newspaper. The position was open and I figured that it'd look good on my CV and give me some valuable experience considering it's the sort of thing I'd like to do after Uni. Fingers crossed for that.
I ended up going into town yesterday to do some clothes shopping. Three and a half hours later and I’d bought myself three things, and one of those things something that I actually needed. The other two were another pair of jeans, (I don’t care what anyone says, I’ve put on weight. The proof is that three pairs of my old jeans have ceased to fit me comfortably), and a new top. Which is yellow. Because, according to Hannah, I ‘need some colour’. I’m normally found in black, navy, or beige/cream. Meh. Hopefully they won’t insist I go shopping again this year. So I’m currently sitting in my room, listening to Disney songs and drinking Klah. Still, it’s Squids this evening, which I’ve said I’ll go to since I didn’t go to a ‘Drum & Bass’ evening a couple of days ago. Ugh. Drum and Bass. I don’t mind it, but I’d rather not have to go and stand next to a dozen sweaty people swinging their hair all over the place. Not my idea of fun. Still, Squids is always a laugh.
