I've not written for a few days, so this may be a long-ish post. You have been warned.
It's been a full few days for me here. It almost seems as though everyone's waited until the very last minute to do things together. A couple of people have already left, and this weekend it's only Re-Al and I here. I'm thinking of actually going for a jog or something tomorrow. We'll see.
Wednesday was brilliant. Rach, Hannah, Sophie, Becky, Gabi, Joe and I all went to Nottingham for the day to go Ice Skating. I ended up getting a student rail card so that rail fares are cheaper for a year. Thus, getting to Nottingham was only £5, which is fantastic. That's less than a taxi from the Leicester Station back to Oadby. Of course, being in Nottingham also meant that I was forced to go clothes shopping, and ended up paying £4 for a top to wear to the 'Rave' themed Foam Party at the Union that night.
It was Re-Al's 'fake birthday', as well as being my Nana's real birthday, so I phoned my Nana to say hello and wish her a good day. It turned out that I didn't end up wearing the T-Shirt I'd bought that evening, although I did borrow numerous items of clothing from different people, including Tim's skirt. (Never thought I'd type -that- sentence). There are photographs on Facebook. I backcombed my hair...or rather, Camille backcombed my hair. I look /nothing/ like myself. It was peculiar, to say the least. The evening out wasn't my cup of tea, but it wasn't a complete 'I hate it I hate it I hate it' evening.
Not a great deal has happened yesterday, save for going to Asda with Hannah. That was more or less the highlight of my day. Fun times. Unless you count pulling an all-nighter for no reason whatsoever save for not being tired, of course. I actually went to breakfast for the first time in...absolutely ages. Today, therefore, I've done basically nothing, dozing here and there and basically just berating myself for destroying any semblance of a normal sleeping pattern I might have.
