I thought id' write up this blog at 8pm in the evening, instead of the usual midnight +. Granted, that may be due to the fact that over the past couple of days I've had a rather stonking head cold. I've been sound asleep by 2am for the duration. Certainly unlike my usual sleeping habits.
Despite this however, I have been rather active these past few days. For one thing, my trip to go and see the musical 'Wicked' down in London at the Apollo theatre has been completely booked. £59 for both the tickets and the train fare. Not bad at all, really. I'm going with Will, who gets free train fare anyway, so he just owes me the £26 for the actual ticket. Talking of Will, the tips of my fingers on my left hand are currently smarting from the amount of guitar practice I've been doing today. I've finally got myself a semi-acoustic guitar, but unofruntately one of the strings snapped in transport, so I've been playing my electric. (The one which I'm meant to be selling...but the more I play it the less I want that to happen...I'll just forget to tell Nana I don't want to get rid of it now).
I took in a CV to a temping agency today to attempt to get a job. I'd really like to get some more funds in the bank - as many as possible, really - before I go back to Uni in October. There's 7 more agencies in town that I need to apply to, but I'll be doing that hopefully on Friday. Will's coming 'round tomorrow for another guitar session, and I'm seeing Mike on Thursday. (I've rather noticed that most of my closer friends here at home are of the male variety, for some reason).
A few thoughts regarding my writing have been flittering through my head just recently. I've no idea as to whether I want to start an entirely new story, or redo my 'Sunstone Scavenger' story. The latter is very, very tempting at the moment...even if it will take me a short while to get back into the flow of that one. We'll see when my 'to do' list has gone down a little bit, methinks.
And now, I am just about to get myself another cherry flavoured lemsip. So until next time, dear Reader.
