I've just checked my Uni account on blackboard to see if I passed the year without having to retake anything and whatnot. The marks for the first year don't actually count towards my degree, and I need an average of 40% to pass it. Well, it seems as though I've managed to do so rather comfortably. I got an average mark of 61% this semester, which really, really pleased me considering it's a 2.1. At least I don't have to worry about retaking exams or anything of the like.
I'm currently babysitting for my auntie and uncle, who have gone to a charity ball...dinner...thing. Something to do with the fire service that Alex asked them to go to. I'm staying over this evening, meaning that I have to sleep on what I call the 'Mother Bear's Bed'. That is, a bed that's almost too soft. I'm the sort of person who's happier with a sleeping bag on the floor than an overly soft bed, but there we go. -- They've just got back, and my uncle won a Scalextric set during the charity auction. Fun times.
To summarise my day: (Copied and pasted from an MSN conversation because I'm currently more or less falling asleep as I type this, and need to get some sleep.)
I woke up at 7:30. Got up at 8. Went to the CPL and was up a ladder all morning risking life and limb to re-order some antique books, got put in charge of a group of adults (-snickers-), went home, did Pilates(!), showered, came to my aunties, got stuck in my cousins playhouse (>.>) played football, played tag, played hopping races, bathed cousins, read to cousins, watched Dr Who and chatted for a while to people on MSN.
A rather busy day, really. I'll be doing some craft things tomorrow methinks. I might do some painting. I've not done any for ages...it'd be nice to get back into that again.
