I would have posted yesterday, but unfortunately I rather felt like crap last night. Not through any sort of emotional charge, but for the simple fact that I was outside all day in the heat and sun (yes, we do get it occasionally here in England) and I thusly ended up with a headache and a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. It was a pleasant day, however. I didn't get much sleep on the sofa, but the trip to the garden centre was a rather nice break. I ended up carrying Nathan piggy-back for most of the way 'round, but I need the exercise anyway so I wasn't one to complain. We lunched there, and Nathan was able to have a go on the small play area that they'd set up, before then going off to Tutbury castle...which unfortunately ended up being closed. Despite my best efforts of suggesting we go for a drink at a cafe, the four of us ended up at another park. I napped (!) when we got back until dinner was ready, which got rid of some of my headache.
Today, I decided to make some Rice Crispie cakes. They were obviously awesome, and reminded me of old school fêtes. I also worked a little on dad's novel, before going out at 7:30 to see 'Mamma Mia!' with my auntie. Now, I don't normally go for shameless plugging...but everyone ought to see that film. Seriously. Without shame the first thing I did when I got back home was download a load of Abba songs. I sang on the way home, and was told that my voice wouldn't clear a room as I've always said it would. Granted, it was my auntie who said that, but she's normally brutally honest about such things...and it made me happy. xD . I tend to sing better after watching a musical for some reason..but there you go. In any case, Mamma Mia was awesome. I want to go and see it again. Tomorrow I shall have to work on convincing my nana that actually, she /does/ want to go and see it.
I'm meeting Chloe tomorrow. I rang John today about it, and he's surprisingly agreed to let me see her by myself. I was going to go into town in any case. I need to see Antony at Mondas to sell him the Observer books I picked up at the car boot. That and I need to go to the CPL to clear their top shelf of books. -Wrinkles nose- Still, it needs to be done and if I don't do it, no-one will. No-one else trusts the stepladder, for a start.
I'm still humming Abba songs even now. I'll not shut up for the next day or so I shouldn't think.
