My Auntie evidently doesn't trust my remembering to eat, so she invited me over for a Sunday roast lunch today. Granted, she's correct. All I'd eaten over the past three days was a sandwich, three carrots, some grapes and...uh...about nine chips. Fantastically healthy, I know. (/sarcasm). In any case, dad also joined us...and of course at some point had to take a pop at me. Is it sad that I'm getting quite resigned to it? I guess it is on some level...but on another I'm tired of trying to argue with him. I'm done. I've had enough. (Happy now, father dear?) Anyway, it was a decent enough afternoon. I had a nice meal and ended up reading a few stories to my cousins, which I always enjoy doing. (They -will- love books, they -will- love books...etc).
Josh came 'round this evening so that we could work on a Tal'Vorn RPG setup. It seems to be going rather well thus far. We've sorted out the main game mechanics and the skills. Oh, we still have a /lot/ to get sorted, but at least we've started on the project...which in my experience of projects, is the most difficult part of it.
Note to self: I need a haircut at some point this week...probably when I go into town to buy some teatowels for the new house.Labels: Conversations, Family, Tal'vorn, Uni
