By 'it' I mean 'me' (or 'I'm', if you want to substitute directly). To say things have been hectic here would only be a half-truth. They've been hectic for the past three days or so...but before that they've been downright dull. The moving into the house here in Leicester went smoothly enough, although there's still the matter of sorting out the meter readings for the electric and gas bills. They'll be done tomorrow though, so it's not a big issue. Believe it or not, dear reader, I've been cooking some rather nice things. From a chicken and mango dish this evening, to home-made burgers a couple of days ago. I've discovered that I rather enjoy cooking when I'm doing so for another person as well. Whether that mindset will change once I actually have work to do, I don't know. We shall see.
It's currently more or less 2am however, and time for me to retire to get some sleep. I'd like to keep some sort of loose regime if at all possible this year. I messed up my body clock pretty badly last time and I don't want that to happen again.
