Well, I have an excuse for not posting last Friday...but no real excuse for not posting since then. The excuse was that I was too tired and my arm ached. Bus crashes are one of those things that you never believe will happen to you...Kind of like being knocked over by a car -snerks- or developing a nasty viral/head infection -snerks again-. I think someone has it in for me. Or perhaps it's the other way around. I'd probably be blinded by the glass-spray if I'd been sitting at the front as I normally do on the Mickleover buses. Meh. In any case, since I was sitting sideways I came out of it with no more than a bruised upper arm and some pins and needles. It could've been far, far worse. (Not that you'd've thought it from looking at the bus afterwards, but still).

I had quite a different and rewarding day today. My cousin Nathan has been trying to learn how to ride his bike for a while, so I took him to the local park. After a few goes he managed to ride in a straight line by himself. I was rather proud of him, though he does still need a hand starting off, and his turning needs practice...but still, it was major improvement. Then with the help of Guild Wars (I kid you not) I got him reading 'tens and units' instead of just one-number numbers. (If that makes sense) So for example, he now knows what 68 is, and can say it properly. (The amount of gold we sold a longbow for, in case anyone's wondering). All in all I spent quite a while with my cousin today, and he behaved himself. (He normally does when I'm looking after him. He knows I'm firm but fair).

...and whose idea was it for me to write a 'to do' list? It's one of those things where you complete one task, then realise you have another two or three to add to the bottom of it. The thing is never-ending. Ah well...just another couple of weeks before I get packed up and scamper off to Uni again. At that time the 'to do' list will cease for a while until I get myself completely sorted.
