Fact of Life #11 - The grass that looks greener has normally been sprayed with paint and pesticides.
-----
Well, first and foremost I'm still not awfully clear as to the 'status' of a certain male and myself. Which to be frank, is irritating. Men. One day they will learn that a female would rather know where she stands. -Sigh- Until he can actually make his mind up however, I'm just going to carry on as normal. A la treating him as I'd treat any other guy friend.
The fireworks last night were fantastic though. The atmosphere at the Old Horse was really good, and although I didn't really get to speak to many of the Fencers that had gone there, Philip came and sat with us. ('Us' being Rich, Hannah, Sian, Helen and myself). All in all it was a great evening. It was nice to get out without being expected to either drink or pretend to dance.
As an added bonus I've also had a rather productive day today. I must've written out at least 5/6 pages of notes, as well as going over Chapter 7 in my Baker book, looking at strong verbs. (Not that it really helped in the slightest, of course. It basically said that strong verbs were not weak verbs, so look at the tables. Ugh).
Another hour or so of multitasking, and I think I'll turn in for the evening.
