When I said 'tomorrow' in my last post, I didn't realise that the last thing I'd feel like doing would be to talk about the sharding exam. To say that it didn't go so well would be a rather large understatement. In fact, I almost cried with frustration during the two and a half hours that I had to endure for it. I can only hope now that I'll actually manage to pass the sharding thing so that I won't have to retake it when September rears its head.
Breaking away from such awful news however, I went into Leicester city centre earlier this week with the Gnome and Lucy. The pair had been harpering on at me to let them take me clothes shopping for a while, and I finally caved. It was a nice enough day, despite feeling rather ill at the end of it thanks to the sharp pains in my knee, but I'd still say the outing was worth it.
I'm at home currently. I came back yesterday for my nana's 70th and subsequent family get together at 'Frankie & Bennies'. It was a good day, all in all. I was asked to stay another evening so I could be a 'trial run' for a meal nana is going to cook when my grandparents have friends round next week. Free, well cooked food? Tch, as if my nana needed to ask me more than once.
