Well, I've managed to get myself a job. Alright, it's minimum wage and small hours (almost no point in going in), but it's something else to throw onto my CV, and it's managed to start to get me into a routine, so it isn't all bad.
Atop of that, I also have a new haircut. I went with my auntie to the makeover day I got her for her birthday, and I must say that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The photoshoot was rather fun. The only part I actually disliked was the makeup. Alright, so it may have gotten rid of the darkness under my eyes and any blotches I may have had...but it wasn't exactly me in the photographs afterwards. I don't wear makeup, even if I do have the same haircut still (and surprisingly I am rather pleased with it). I put some of the pictures up on Facebook, and had quite a few comments from (surprised) people about how nice I looked...and it was nice of them to say such kind things, but it was a one-off. The person in the photograph is different to the everyday person sitting behind the computer. It's difficult to explain, I guess.
It's Kelmarsh this weekend! Apparantly Hatting is getting too easy now, so we're going to go for jackets. Ought to be a bit more of a challenge, in any case. I'm looking forwards to seeing everyone again. It's been a couple of months now. It does mean that I have to go back home for a couple of days in order to get some finnials done, as well as sew a bit more to my guardian...but that should be enjoyable enough to do. I've not been on the lathe for a while, and I have some pyrography to do for the winners of the Caufar Awards anyway, so I'll be infinitely busy until next Monday at least.
P.S. I've started dreaming about her again. I know it's absurd, but it's not exactly something I can help.
